Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech

Your 5-day Moroccan adventure begins as we travel north to Marrakech, a city rich in culture and history. Upon arrival, take a guided tour through its vibrant streets, starting at the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where entertainers, food vendors, and artisans bring the city to life. Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque with its towering minaret and unwind in the tranquil Majorelle Garden, an artistic haven created by French painter Jacques Majorelle. Spend the night in a cozy riad or hotel, experiencing Marrakech’s renowned hospitality.

Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura – Dades Valley

After breakfast, set off towards the Dades Valley, crossing the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Take in panoramic views of the rugged terrain before stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar known for its stunning kasbahs and famous as a filming location. Journey through the scenic Skoura oasis and continue to the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a charming guesthouse, surrounded by striking rock formations and lush greenery.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga

Begin the day by exploring the stunning Dades Valley before making your way to Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering cliffs popular among climbers and nature lovers. After a short hike through the gorge, continue your journey to Erfoud, a town renowned for its fossils and date market. From there, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Embark on a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset before spending the night at a traditional Berber desert camp, enjoying dinner and live music under the starry sky.

Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarin – Ouarzazate

Wake up to a magical sunrise over the dunes before setting off on a journey through the vast desert landscape. Explore the Merzouga region, visiting nomadic communities and the village of Khamlia, known for its unique Gnawa music. Travel through Alnif and Tazarin, passing striking desert scenery and stopping in Rissani to experience its bustling market. By evening, arrive in Ouarzazate, a city often called the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where you’ll spend the night surrounded by its rich cinematic history and traditional Moroccan charm.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Taroudant – Agadir

On the final leg of your journey, depart Ouarzazate and head towards Taznakht, a town famous for its traditional Berber carpets. Explore local markets and workshops where skilled artisans craft intricate rugs. Continue through scenic landscapes towards Taroudant, often referred to as the “Little Marrakech” due to its historic medina and bustling souks. By late afternoon, return to Agadir, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day Moroccan adventure. Arrival is expected around 18:00.
